Jeff is also privileged to work with members of the NYC Performing Arts community - Ballet and Modern dancers, Classical musicians, Opera singers, Actors and Broadway babies.

“Massage therapy is the sweet spot where art and science meet: Part training, part experience, part intuition and part creativity. My hands-on style is an intense blend of power, technique, sensitivity and focus. “

“ I like to keep it simple. Treat the chief complaint. Make sure you leave feeling better than when you came in. If I can find and address an underlying cause, treat a secondary issue in the same session or demonstrate self-care tips  - I will.”

Athletically: Jeff swam at the University of Connecticut (200 Butterfly, 400 IM), ran and cycled in grad school at the University of Florida. Took classes at the School of the Hartford Ballet, moved to NYC and studied ballet at the David Howard Dance Center.  Trained for years with weights.  Took Spin classes. Practiced Tai Chi and Pilates to prevent injury.  Returned to his roots and swims almost daily.

What clients say

At the age of 52, after my first hip replacement surgery, I discovered the word of mountain sports — rock climbing, ice climbing, high altitude trekking, and mountaineering.  Shortly after, fortunately, I found Jeff — because training for endurance and strength, and then taking those newfound characteristics into unforgiving environments, put stresses on my body that nothing in my first 50 years of life had prepared me for.  Jeff, However, was unfazed — he intuitively and firmly located the issues I was creating for myself, and found ways to address them that no other massage therapist has thought of — definitely making my now-decade-plus progress through this adventure possible.  Knowing that no matter how hard I push, Jeff will be there to help my body adjust and improve, has helped me train for and then complete and recover from my most rewarding adventures.

Looking back over the many years that you saved me from
Awful pain and supported my overall emotional, spiritual and physical
Stability and health, I don’t know what I would have done without you!

HJ - Visual Artist, NYC

I’ve had Jeff as my massage therapist for a number of years. He’s wonderful. He’s seen me through easing my pain and helping with mobility both before and after a hip replacement. And I’ve stuck with him over the years to help work on the myriad muscle aches that come with aging.
